Our mission – to get more people to donate to disaster relief efforts for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. As a thank you, members of IDSTUDIOS will be drawing single-character pencil headsketches for every $26 donation. The $6 will go towards shipping your sketch to you. (We’re only shipping to addresses in the U.S. Sorry, we can’t ship these internationally.) The rest will be given directly to the Philippine Red Cross. Feel free to donate more than $26. If you would like more than one sketch, it’s $26 for each sketch.

If you would like to participate in our mission, please send at least $26 via PayPal as a GIFT toINFO@IDENTITYCOMICS.COM. Sending it as a GIFT will prevent fees from being taken out. We will then donate the total amount at the end of 2 weeks directly to the Philippine Red Cross. Please provide us your name, mailing address, email address, character you’d like drawn, and your artist of choice in the MESSAGE box. You can choose between Peng-Peng, theFranchize, or Flash to draw your sketch. You can email INFO@IDENTITYCOMICS.COM to let us know what we can draw for you!

We’re running this sale for 2 weeks from Nov. 18^th till Dec. 2^nd. We plan on mailing out all art starting Dec. 9^th. All sketches will be drawn on 5.5x8.5” cardstock paper. At the end of each week we will post names and how many sketches they’ve requested on IdentityComics.com so that you know exactly how much donations we’ve received and exactly what we’re sending to the Philippine Red Cross. This is part of our effort to be as transparent and honest as possible.

We’re not a non-profit organization, we won’t have any forms to give you that you can use to write off your donations for tax purposes. We’re just 3 people trying to draw sketches in exchange for donations towards disaster relief. If you are uncomfortable about this, we completely understand and we highly encourage you to please give your donations directly to the Philippine Red Cross or other organizations that will help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

So... here we are... about to embark upon another crazy stretch of conventions to wrap up the year!!!
first up, this week I will be at BALTIMORE COMIC CON, Sept 7-8!!! I'll be set up with my ID Studio mates at TABLES A85,A86.

We are selling my rare exclusive, ADVENTURE TIME SDCC #18, CANDY CAPERS #1, all the FANBOYS VS ZOMBIES you'll ever need... including my very own issue #17!!! We will also have ADVENTURE TIME and FANBOYS VS ZOMBIES exclusive sketch covers! And of course our normal batch of hot fire prints!!! My man, theFranchize is even up for a Harvey Award for best new promising talent! So you gotta come check me and the gang out this weekend... I mean... what else are ya gonna do!?!?!

Aside from the conventions coming back in full force... I've been working on a few other things lately.

1.  As previously mentioned... I was able to work on an entire FANBOYS VS ZOMBIES book... #17!

2.  I've also been working on some designs for MEGAMAN for ARCHIE Comics!

3.  I've always been a HUGE fan of SAMURAI JACK, and now... I've been blessed with the opportunity to do some cover work for the Comic book, by published by IDW. here are a few concept sketches...

4.  Finally, I've been working on some concept work for LEGO, to hopefully land a job with the great brick company. So far... everything is looking positive!

SAN DIEGO COMIC CON/PRE CON SALE!!!

 Hey guys... so many of you many or may not know... that I will be going to SDCC next week! This will be extra special for me this time around.
  1.  My wonderful wife, Melissa will be accompanying me in fun and support! (mostly fun!!!) I am so very excited to share this experience with her, as she is a HUGE part of my success in doing the things I love, like working in comics/animation, and getting out to these shows to meet new artists and fans!

  2.  I had the great pleasure of creating SDCC exclusive ADVENTURE TIME and CANDY CAPERS covers for BOOM! Studio s The 2 covers will debut at the show!!!! When you buy the 2 covers, they butt up against eachother to form one large image. It was a blast to do!

  3.  With these covers, I will be signing at the BOOM! Studios booth! Here's the schedule:

CON SEASON TO THE MAX/HEROES CON!!!

Man.. oh man... This convention season has been a whirlwind!!!!!! We've done tons of local shows, and started our East Coast tour, to boot!!!
Most recently We attended, for the 2nd year in a row, WIZARD WORLD PHILLY! It was a complete success! So many fans were there to greet! So many awesome artists were there to mingle! It was fantastic.
Next up, we have HEROES CON in Charlotte, NC. I know a ton of you will be there to check out the fun! Please stop by the Identity Comics booth TABLES AA218,219!

Sooooo... I've been hard at work over the past months, trying to add to my resume and advance my art to new levels. I've been working on Logo design, Fanboys vs Zombies, Adventure Time, and many other projects! Its been a tough time pushing through this time, balancing work with family time, as I am an "at home" dad... who also works from home. But its been a wonderful experience so far... and I wouldn't change it for the world! In the future, I hope to post more of my work, progress, and finished. I'm also on a country wide tour with my crew, ID Comics Studio, trying to build our name and networking with friends, collegues, and of course... THE FANS!!!!

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2013!

So me and the ID COMICS gang just wrapped up free comic book day at Third Eye Comics! We were foing signings next to Gail Simone and Billy Martin! It was awesome. ..the fans camped out for 2DAYS for the event! It was a huge love fest! Cant image what next year will bring!

So... Saturday was a blast! I was asked to partake in the very first Artist Alley Live drawing stage, right in the middle of artist alley! It was so awesome drawing in front of thousands of people,  showing my process from sketch, to inks, all the way to colors! The fans were really feeling my art, which is a huge deal when you're literally hoisted up on stage for everyone to see!

So I've really been feeling what my homegirl, PENG has been doin with her ADVENTURE TIME COVERS for BOOM! Studios, and a bunch of fan art... so I decided to take a stab at it.... I worked up a print that will be for sale this convention season.

AWESOME CON.... GUY

Ok... so this weekend, APRIL 20-21, me and the IDENTITY COMICS STUDIO crew will be set up at AWESOME CON DC! Its the first real comic convention in DC in at least 3 decades!!! It will be... well... AWESOME!!! The crew and I will be signing MANY MANY books, from AVENGFULS, TO FANBOYS VS ZOMBIES, TO NFL RUSH ZONE, TO ADVENTURE TIME... you name it!
The show promoter, Ben Penrod (Awesome dude!) asked me to create a heroic character for their tshirt design.  So... here's what I came up with!

NEW 52!

So me and the IDENTITY COMICS STUDIO crew have been cookin up some new artwork, gettin ready for this conventions season. One of the projects we are doing is... like our AVENGERS mashup we did last year... we are doing a DC NEW 52 set!!! I was responsible for... FLASH (duh) and AQUAMAN. I chose AQUAMAN, cuz he's not that well received in the comic world... well at least by the mass public. Those are the kind of characters I LOVE!!! 

So here's my rendition of FLASH and AQUAMAN, with hot colors by Bill Blankenship, whom I worked with on NFL RUSH ZONE for Action Lab Comics!
